IMPORTANT! We are going "live" in part, with meeting outdoors at McDonald Park- Pasadena on Saturdays, weather permitting. Wednesday will be via Zoom due to the loss of indoor facilities due to Covid 19. Class open only to those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
SCHEDULE Wednesday: "Virtual Doors" open at 6.00 PM, for check-in and visiting. Class starts at 6.30 PM with Warm-ups, Post Standing, The Form, Yang Family Breathing, Symmetrical Set. We finish at approximately 8.00 PM. Beginners will review what they have learned on Saturday via Wednesday Zoom break out rooms. Saturday: We will meet at 8.00 AM, for check-in and visiting. Class starts at 8.30 AM, with Warm-ups, Alternating Soaring Crane Chi Going or Wild Goose Chi Gong, Tapping, the Form, followed by Tai Chi Fan, Sword or Sabre or Fast Set and possible push hands. We finish at approximately 10.30 AM. Beginners will start with learning the warm-up routine and Soaring Crane Chi Gong as well as the first part of the form. E-mail notices will be sent out prior to each meeting day with ZOOM links or location. We practice the long style Yang form of Tai Chi Chuan (108 moves)developed by Yang Ch'eng-Fu. New students learn the form in approximately one year, proceeding quarterly, Advanced students refine their practice and receive instruction in other areas. The forms are done as a group. All Instructors were certified as "Sifu" (Teacher) by our late Sifu Dr. Daniel Lee.
